We are hiring a maintenance/cleaning worker to join our team. Your duty will be to clean and maintain the school as well as the outside building of the school campus.

Maintenance/Cleaning Worker Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Heavy Lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
• Cleaning and mainting building inside and out
• Removing trash, mopping, cleaning restrooms , cleaning cafeteria and monitoring bake sales

Maintenance Worker Requirements:

• Proven maintenance experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
• Experience performing routine maintenance
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Eye for detail
• Professional presentation and attitude
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually
• Strong time management skills
